Bikers Against Child Abuse (BACA) Annual 100 Mile Ride April 24, 2010, Frederick, Maryland.
Register 11 am–1 pm Harley Davidson of Frederick. Ends at Cactus Flats with music by Steelrose with Wynn. (BACA South Mountain Maryland Chapter)
The Annual 100 Mile is the only ride that BACA does. BACA Chapters throughout the country participate in their area on the same day, so you're (sort of) riding with thousands of bikers dedicated to helping abused children take back their lives.
Registration begins at 11:00 am, kickstands up at 1:00. This ride will start off at the Harley Davidson dealership in Frederick, Md. It's a beautiful scenic ride through the country and mountains. The ride stops a couple of times for refreshments and nature's call along the way at convenience stores.
There is no alcohol allowed on or during the ride. The ride will end at Cactus Flats just north of Frederick. Steele Rose Band with Wynn will be playing. When the ride reaches Cactus Flats the ride is over and 'adult beverages' are your decision. Food supplied for participants.
Rider $20 donation, passenger $10 donation, but any donation accepted. BACA is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization.
We want to thank the Steelrose Band for donating their time to play. We also want to thank Heather at Harley Davidson of Frederick for her help. And last but not least, we want to thank Donna at Cactus Flats for the use of her bar and for fixing the food at the end of the ride and the party afterward. For more about BACA, see www.bacausa.com
