DESCRIPTION:For More Details and to Sign up for this Event Please Log on at: www.meetup.com/KickstandsUp/This fun filled day of riding is going to start off with a tour of the Stoogeum which is also where we're meeting up. The Stoogeum is the world's first and only museum of Three Stooges memorabilia. Containing close to 100\,000 pieces of Stoogeabilia. The Stoogeum (rhymes with museum) offers fans a chance to view a vast array of artifacts which celebrate the legacy of this legendary comedy team. The 10\,000 square-foot\, 3-story building houses anything and everything Stooge. Artifacts from 1918 to the present are on exhibit\, including several interactive displays there's also a research library\, a 16MM film storage vault and an 85-seat theater used for film screenings\, lectures and special presentations. After our tour of the Stoogeum we'll be off on a 70 mile back roads trip to Metuchen NJ and the final resting place of James Bechtold. WEIRD NJ:there is the terrifically twisted tale of a tombstone in the Hillside cemetery that beats just about every tombstone they've ever highlighted in their compendium of terrifically twisted tales. Seems that one James Bechtold\, known as "Becky" to his friends and family\, was a revered Metuchen firefighter who died\, leaving his brothers to construct this unusual gravesite. A lifelong fan of the Three Stooges\, and a lifetime believer in the power of laughter\, Becky's request was for a tombstone carved with the words "Laugh don't weep\, It feels better" with the Three Stooges looking down over him With an hour or two to explore the Stoogeum and the 70 mile ride to the tombstone Plus a Stop for Lunch and at least some highway travel along the way back you can expect this to be a 6 - 8 hour adventure.Click Here for the Stoogeum WebsiteClick Here for the Tombstones WebsiteClick Here for a G o o g l e Map of our RouteClick Here to Download an Itinerary File of our Route\n______________________________\nThis Event Downloaded From a Helios Calendar Powered Site
